Welcome to the 'Web Of Life'. Conceptualized by Jason Moore, the Web Of Life represents our biosphere that includes all sentient beings nesting and regenerating within innumerable webs. Regardless of our higher aspirations, of utmost importance to comprehend our ‘real place’ in society as well as within Nature. We 'make' the environment, we 'make' the world and in turn the world and the environment makes us. The 'Web Of Life' and SEED offer brave new pathways of change and evolution. A Return To Nature!

A DEEP DIVE!
⭐ Our material prosperity is based on the myth of “Cheap Nature”.
A devious logic which manifests as cheap energy, cheap food, cheap work and cheap products. All that also equates to a great devaluation, of the planet and people. Following the same myth are all the maxims of Capitalism, infinite wealth accumulation and the exploitation of everything we wrongly understand as “cheap”. Sit back and think for a moment, What all do you take? as "cheap"? And for how long can that go on?
⭐ "Society” and “Nature” should not be understood as two separate entities, just like human beings are not above or beyond Nature. But both are part of the same biosphere, including all past, present and future crisis. We must orient ourselves not just scientifically, but also intellectually, politically and spiritually. Abandon the old binaries such as “Man versus Nature” and “Man above Nature”. Discard the ruling ideas that divide and rule people, which also control the matrix of exploitation (followed by destruction) of Nature.
⭐ Such deep binaries are dangerous constructs and abstractions, that alienate not only people from Nature, but also human beings from each other. Our current ways of “organizing Nature” can also be understood as Capitalism, which actually benefits a small group of people, rationalized to serve economic growth or some “higher good”. Capitalism as a way of acting, thinking and doing, can also be understood as a tentacular form of world domination, that exploits, extracts and converts everything from the periphery into the core metropolitan engines of the global economy. Our governing deceit, that we can do what we please with Nature as well as each other is fraught with crisis. Hence, we are compelled to think and act in radical and new ways.

KEY INSIGHTS BY JASON MOORE
⭐ Capitalism is a system of organization that governs the entire world as of now. Including the "world-ecology committed to endless accumulation".
⭐ Capitalism produces ruling ideas, not the other way around. Capitalism is therefore the "super-organization" 🤑
⭐ The biosphere crisis can also be understood as a class struggle, between the rich and the poor. Class is a social and metabolic relation. Class struggles to achieve it's needs, within the "Web Of Life".
⭐ Deepen your investigations, into the phrase "Web Of Life" What does it actually mean for you? What new worlds can you imagine?🤔
⭐ We all know the facts. It’s how we make sense of them that shapes our politics and important decisions.
⭐ How we think with and through, and consequently act upon—“systems” is what matters. What systems are you currently dealing with?🤔
⭐ There is no organism without an environment, as much as there is no environment without an organism.
⭐ The conditions of planetary life will change significantly over the next century. They’re already changing dramatically!😲

TEN BIG MYTHS 😬
The economy can grow infinitely.
Infinite growth of wealth.
Technological solutions.
Technological society is the way to progress.
Capitalism is good.
Nature is cheap (limitless).
Historical context does not matter.
Individual success matters.
Personal reform can fix everything.
Evolution is elevation.
TEN BIG FACTS ☺️
The Earth is a fixed system.
Planetary boundaries ensure a stable biosphere.
There are limits to all types of growth.
Nature is not renewable in the short term.
The biosphere crisis has a direct relationship to capitalism and it's history.
Modern civilization is an outcome of a great devaluation, of nature.
Without the working class there can be no social progress.
Without labor we cannot alter, exploit and utilize nature.
Technology can discount human labor and subvert it.
Technology cannot discount Nature or biodiversity.
A RETURN TO NATURE - ONE
What is a dialectic? Investigating or discussing the truth of opinions.
A world without limits?
🌍 Without limits of speed, limits of consumption and without material constrains? By removing limits and constrains, we also loose the ability to strive for better outcomes. We give up 'our will / spirit to resist and to overcome'. Think spiritually, about our responsibility and limits. We perform better, make better choices and flourish, when we have constrains, limits and problems, especially those imposed by Nature and the real conditions we live within. If you give yourself limits you have something to push against. The modern myth of "no limits" is not just dangerous but entirely misleading. People who are completely devoted to technology and not life, desire a world with "no limits".
What we make of Nature also defines our relationship with it.
🌏 Every new relationship and dialectic that we discover with Nature, also evolves further in ways we cannot predict. We cannot make sense of Nature with scientific terms or rationality alone, nor can we preserve it with laws and technological reform. Material conditions always change, and so do our ideas about the world in which we live. Without the fruition of new ideas and new modes of survival, we are doomed, no matter how much material wealth or technological superiority we may obtain. A "Return To Nature" is to uphold the dialectic of freedom - for all life on the planet. Ideas, decision and pathways that are ecologically sane. The urgent point today is not simply to understand the world, but to change it before it is too late.

A RETURN TO NATURE - TWO
🐾 Personal Freedom and Nature 🐾
As we understood in the introduction (Web Of Life) that "we make the environment, we make the world and in turn the world and the environment makes us." Contingent to that understanding, we emphasize the organic interconnection between human beings and Nature. That we as a species emerge out of Nature and not outside of it.
The human spirit (and potential) made of many things unknown also emerges out of Nature and not when disconnected from it. The above observations may appear surprising or non-conventional, but not so when we rise above the two-dimensional reality of progress and personal freedom to achieve, whatever we may aspire for currently.
Regardless of your faith, social identity, preference of political system, ethnic background, language and corresponding culture, our needs are common and so should be our response to and relationship with, Nature. The logic of regeneration and sustainability comes from our ability to first think, then act, organize and eventually unite, as a "Return To Nature". A process that can go on for a lifetime and over generations.
NEW WORLDING. MAKE NEW MEANINGS!
The Hoax Of Modernity!
Cannibal Capitalism?!

A great devaluation of Nature is going, because of our demands, lifestyle and culture? A "Cheap" unsustainable life?

Unquestioned devotion to 'efficiency' as a universal technique to overcome any challenge.
Infinite economic, financial and material growth as a universal rational. What makes people believe that infinite growth is possible on a finite planet.
Believing that the economy, business, material ownership are forever and hence the sacred.
That "time" is money. And money is the finality of all exchange values.
Capital (money) and new techniques are sufficient to get solutions, that can address individual or social crisis and needs.
Powerful ideological narratives that guide people to serve an economy or industry. A society entirely devoted to "personal achievement".
By changing our habits and behavior we can overcome the biggest challenges. That a set of tasks and new techniques can transform society and the individual. Example - the green energy transition.
Nature is the foundation of evolution, for any living being. This "relationship with Nature" is key for our personal evolution, of society and future generations.
A society or tribe that is structured around the "sacred" is able to provide the guiding principles and natural means to accomplish all primary needs.
Addressing our needs that emerge from Nature are real and not "surrogate". The needs which are "surrogate" include wealth, fame, status, etc.
Everything is finite on a 'fixed planet'. Exploitation of
Nature is also finite. When the species goes beyond the "regenerative capacity" of the environment, it has to confront a range of problems or catastrophes.
Addressing the character of work, based on sustainable values, traditions and practices. Whatever your profession, aspirations and the economy that you are a part of.
The environment, be it rural or urban, sparse or dense, rich or poor, contains all the primary drivers of our 'well being' as well as 'ill being'.
